Re: Do anyone get hives?

Good to see ya, blistering fate :) To answer your question- YES. My allergies are off the chart, as I have the wonderful mast cell activation disorder coupled with my AF. It seems that mast cell disorders are becoming really common in people with adrenal issues. This doesn't surprise me as mast cells are the aces of the immune system and it seems we all have autoimmune issues to a certain degree as well.

It took me a long time and many painful rashes, bouts of hives, and a few anaphylactic episodes to figure out I was severely histamine intolerant. I now stick to a strict Low Histamine Diet to keep it under control as much as possible but stress is a definite trigger for me. I have foind that a daily morning cocktail of vitamin c and Sea Salt help a lot with my symptoms, and quercetin is also a good antihistamine too. I would definitely try to go low histamine in your diet but keep in mind it takes about 6 weeks for the excess histamine to leave the system.
