Relative (25 yrs) has dry skin all over but esp on face. Any vit, min, or food that would help heal this?

Wondering if you might be able to recommend a possible cause of dry skin for my relative. She doesn't have any other symptoms? Thinking it may be dietary. She may need flax or some vit or min. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks
