Re: Why such bad reactions to mustard/vinegar

It looks like maybe this is an aflotoxin related reaction.

I think it is more to do with the vinegar than the mustard. Turmeric does not give me problems unless I take a lot of it in the raw form.

There is some conflicting information about whether high heat will destroy mycotoxins. Next time I'm feeling brave and having vinegar cravings I will heat it to high temp and see what happens.

This last bout was triggered by 2-3 days in a row of mustard (no turmeric).

It's just weird because I have been through hellatious detoxing before with parasites, metals, colon stuff, and never had any pain like this.

I had also suspected it was related to bread somehow, but usually I do fine with it except for maybe a little constipation. But now I realize that it may have to do with old bread, which would also lead more in the direction of mycotoxins or molds.

It's true mustard is one of the best digestives which is why I crave it now and then but I guess I have to stay far away.

I checked hulda clark info after reading sloth's posting. So it's pretty interesting that aflotoxin is something that just gets stored in the body causing damage. I have similar pains when embarking on juice fasting so maybe it is a release or stirring up of some aflotoxins - who knows.

No other seeds give me problems like this either, so I doubt its a phytate reaction.
