Question about DMSO

So DMSO can be mixed with any other liquid and rubbed on the skin and it will be absorbed? I want to try it with this

I have been taking this stuff for 4 months for lyme disease but unfortunately have not seen much progress, am thinking perhaps because of absorption issues, hence would like to try it through the skin/DMSO route. Thanks for any hep with this.
