New to forum . . . is this how I pose questions regarding health? This is for my 23-yr. old son. Quick summary: had ankle surgery 14 months ago, screws and plate implanted. Had smoked for 4 years, tried Chantix for three weeks, then (even though athlete), started fatigue, very low pulse, strange feeling in throat occasionally, dry eyes, low body temp (96.1 in the morning), rising to 97.4 later in day. Dr. started on Armour Thyroid due to TSH of 4+, new blood work done, results tomorrow. VERY stressed and anxious over health issues. Went back to smoking, but for last 7 weeks, using e cigarette. Echocardiogram normal, stress test great, but holter monitor showed some abnormal or erratic electrical impulses (unsustained). Oh, and after ankle surgery spent almost evrey day at hot tub soaking. So, I'm thinking very iodine deficient. Lived for last four years in metro area with city water, used fluoride toothpaste . . . NEED HELP. Don't care for doctors just wanted to push meds (cardiologist wanted to put on Toprol right away. Didn't do it) Tweet
