A while ago I read someone mentioning something about vitamin A or zinc deficiency (sorry - forgot who it was).
And I think longterm also mentioned that alcohol has something to do with vitamin A - and I know for a fact that beer usually makes my lips 'more dry'.
Anyway, I have been taking vitamin A and zinc supplements recently. I'm taking:
- Zinc 25mg (~3-4 a day)
- Vitamin 5000 (~3-4 a day)
I still apply Bepanthem and cocoa butter lipbalm a few times during the day. Note that I have the white-ish peelign lips (not the yellow crusts).
Basically there is less of that 'line' separate the good and bad parts of my lip. It still peels a bit and I wipe it off in the shower. But it feels good in between.
I'm not 100% if it's getting better. Definitely not getting cured. But thought I'd just provide an update....thanks!
