Will TSH ever return to normal?

I've been taking Lugol's Iodine + the protocol for over a year now. I am also taking Naturethroid, which I started about 6 months ago. Will my TSH ever come back to normal? It feels odd to keep increasing the dose of a medication because of a supplement working against it so to speak. My biggest complaints are chronic joint pain and feeling cold/cold extremities unless it's 80 degrees. I am 44 years old and feel like I'm 84!
