Unsuccessful Flush
Hi All,
So, I did a flush last Friday, and didn't get a single stone out, although after the preparation I had done I had anticipated a really good flush.
In preparation I completed an eight day juice fast. Although I didn't flush immediately at the end of this, I returned to eating for one week before flushing albeit eating very carefully and mostly fruit and veg.
A few things I did differently on this flush were:
1. During my fast I had been drinking each morning a cup of grapefruit juice, mixed with a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and juiced ginger, and hot water. I really enjoyed this and continued doing so after my fast ended, even doing so on the morning of my flush. I realised afterwards that in
Andreas Moritz book it does say not to have any spices on the flush day, and have read before that cayenne can cause a release of bile - does anyone think this would have effected the amount of bile available in the evening when I flushed?
2. Also, I tried a castor oil compress on flush day - I did this at 4.30pm, for one hour, so I was able to get cleaned up before taking the first dose of
Epsom Salts at 6pm. I can't say that I felt anything whilst doing this (good or bad), but have read it can take up to 3 months of regular use to really feel the benefits.
So, why didn't I get any stones out. The last two flushes have produced about 30 or so each. I know there are still some in there as I feel congested, pain under the right rib and pain in my right shoulder. I have only really suffered these pains before when I used too much chanca piedra and caused congestion. That time I had two successive flushes afterwards which produced only one or two small stones. I found acupuncture helped to relieve the congestion afterwards.
If anyone can offer any advice it would be very much appreciated.
Wishing you all successful flushes and good health!
