I make fermented food. I have created websites and have extensive notes on the subject. There are many lactobacili bacteria and beneficial yeasts.

Yes you can replicate by fermenting a food or foods with a culture.

Progurt probably do not want you to do it as they will lose money.

There are many companies that have starter products that have all known Lactobacili and yeasts that can be used to ferment food.

Kefir milk for example uses particular bacteria that gives many great benefits including candidas removal.

Tre pickled food is food fermented through anerobic lactobacillic culture. E.G. sauerkraut etc
