I'm going to email this Dr. Alan Hirch, because obviously he's never heard of metabolic Body Odor conditions. The nerve of this guy! I smell constantly of ammonia or smelling salts. I've tried everything inclusive of numerous doctor's visits, along with various laboratory tests and exams. The ultimate humiliation was being referred to a psychologist because my physician claim that I don't "stink" or smell of ammonia; that I was paranoid and obsessed with the way that I smell. Basically it's all in my head.
