I hear the issue w/ most Dr's say about not taking to much carrot juice. Not all MD Dr's agree with what your last Dr said. As a matter of fact the Gerson Institute has been curing cancer patients & reversing most chronic disease like diabetes for almost 70 yrs. Some Dr's are now saying that disease not not really linked to Genetics but in the food or diet we have as humans. I have been on the gerson therapy for 7 months, and too the Dr's have told my I have to much potassium and suger in my levels, but for some reason I passed the suger test, as once before I was considerd hypoglysimic, now I am not. On the carrot apple juicing I have my allergies almost gone & also asthma. I am on my way to healing. I have disregarded the ridiculous myths that it is bad for you. Carrots do have suger, but it is PLANT base suger. The veggies and fruits are loaded w/ enzyms,vitamins, minerals, and so on . These vitamins & enzymes go straight to the blood and attach themselves to our cells not giving the natural Sugar priority to do harm. Dr Maxx Gerson has established this therapy since the turn of the century. Read up on it before you denie yourself the benefits of juicing. I personally drink 13 glasses of juice - 10 carrot & apples & 2-3 in greens w/ orange juice.

gerson.org You can absorb it... this is the contradiction the Dr's are taught to tell patients. The liver & kidney are an amazing tool,but because we have added so much toxic things found in processed foods,animal meats,dairy products,and Oxford drugs & Geneticly altered Antibiotics like the quinolone family does more harm the help out bodys. All this toxcicity is still found in the liver. It weakens our liver to do the job we need it to do. Dr's Maxx Gerson found that detoxcifing the liver helps the liver do its job to process EVERY, including JUICE. I have been drinking over 10 glasses of carrot juice and has not harmed me one bit. Yes, the Dr's tell me to stop doing it because I wont be able to process it, but it is not true in anyway. The skin skin will turn a bit yellow,but it is only found because the liver is still being cleaned. Once my liver is restored my liver will be able to process the juice with out the side effect of the discoloring, as it should be. But I have 40 yrs of toxic junk in my body of eating processed junk, taking cipro for every little bladder infection, all the drug added epidurals the Dr's did for me for my back and consuming dairy,and meats. My liver was very very sick, causing me to have stage 1 cancer in my uterus. So far my cancer is not back, and not only has my cancer not come back, but it is healing my WHOLE body w/ other ailments like asthma,extreme allerties, hypoglycemi. The majorities of americans are STARVING for nutrition, yes starving. The processed foods only fool the body to THINK it is fed or satisfied, but it is not getting the NUTRIENTS, plant based enzymes & LIVE vitamins found in veggies and plants and fruits it needs to rebuild cells. The detoxing the body is also a HUGE part in healing along w/ juicing.
