Re: Lymes Disease Western Blot Flagella Positive
Hi 15279...,
It's a bit of a reach trying to connect the dots with subclinical infections.
The WB test you speak of is often positive, but it could relate to other flagellated species of bacteria your body has encountered before, and generated antibodies against.
There are many factors in the conditions you refer to. There are many unknown and emerging subclinical parasites, there are viruses, and there are interactions between some pathogens. For example, you could have a harmless amoeba in the gut, but that amoeba becomes pathogenic because it encountered a plasmid from a pathogenic species, thus rendering it pathogenic itself.
All of this, plus immune factors such as MHC and HLA classification.
Best to start by narrowing down the exact symptoms, and start to see what others with the same symptoms are doing successfully.
