how is it that my partner is alkaline, while I sit on neutral?

I'm extremely confused, as i'm a pretty healthy individual. I have my raw superfood shakes daily, and try to include several fresh juices and salads.

My partner on the other hand, loves his meat..cakes, pies! He doesn't shy away from a highly processed meal, if it looks appealing.

So last night, he hit the pub and had a lovely night out with his booze and whatnot. I decided to check his ph to prove a point this morning.

First I did mine, which sat at neutral. I gave him his strip to lick at, and it read a freaking 9!! (alkaline)

How does this even make sense? I made him redo the test, and it still sat at this number. What is going on?? Tweet
