Cesarean Section is there a link??

I don't normally post in this forum but I stumbled upon something concerning autism whilst examining probiotics in connection with SIBO which may have been canvassed in this forum already so apologies if it is something already mooted/or well known.

Apparently, there is a suggestion that there is a much higher rate of autism with c-section which could be explained by the absence of exposure to the probiotic cultures along the vaginal canal during labour. This is predicated on the basis that there is thought to be a link between immune system an autism......I have no idea but sounds credible....like I say I stumbled upon the autism aspect by accident as I was only searching for probiotics and SIBO (in particular the damage probiotics can do if one has low stomach acid as a cause of SIBO).
