imo, overly sympathetic nervous system symptom, as supposed to parasympathetic.

as for how and why, well, imo the shamans would know better then any other group. would surmise that they more then anyone know the potential consequences of being caught up in ones head, wasting life energy overthinking and analyzing.

i.e. 'pathogens' and parasites and 'others' may not just be in our physical world, which would through whole new perspective on the concept of immunity..
