started thyroid hormone gained weight

I began taking freeze dried glandular thyroid two months ago. I just had a weigh in today and I've gained 11 lbs.

Has anyone else experienced weight gain when starting thyroid glandular for hypothyroidism?

I know it will take some time for things to even out but 11LBS! OMG! I want to scream.
