Re: Waking up EARLY with thyroid glandular!
What do we do if the
Iodine doesn't seem to be enough for the thyroid? I started
Iodine in May, was told by several folks on a different
Iodine board that most people also need thyroid meds. I was feeling really bad so I began those in June. I have been more miserable than ever since then because they cannot get the dosage right. I'm currently on Nature Throid, 32.5 mg (started over after reaction with increasing dose of Armour - possibly adrenal related).
I tried increasing my iodine to see if that would help, but I had to drop back down due to detox. I am currently at 50 mg, sometimes I take less if detox is bad and pulse dose. I do not want to be on any meds. My face and eyes are puffy and I have weird headaches 24/7 which started in August. The fatigue is awful, with muscle weakness. I guess it is different for everyone how much iodine is actually needed to heal the thyroid. Maybe it just takes a long time to heal a long standing thyroid problem with iodine? I am also taking all co supplements, but perhaps I need more of some than just the recommended dosage. I'm also trying to heal fibrocystic breasts.
