Thanks. Think ive seen this study before. Interesting that it does show lauric acid with a good amount of anti-candida activity. Capric acid is no joke. I took capric acid(just 50 mg) and the amount of head fog it caused was overwhelming. I found capric acid and undecenoic acid(powder form) to both have that unique foul smell to it. Whereas, lauric acid and myristic acid did not have much of a smell to them.
What is your opinion on the table showing that lauric acid had more kill power than monolaurin??
I thought monolaurin and lauric acid are very similiar, but according to the table they are different animals when used directly against the yeast cells.....I guess the body converts monolaurin into lauric acid. I cant' remember from the top of my head.
