Biltricide also works systemic (meaning within the blood and organs) But Biltricide is more effective against trematodes and cestodes, Albendazole more effective against nematodes.

About the liver:
I drew some blood 3 days ago 8 days after my Praziquantel course.
My liver functions were fine. AST and ALT 22-25, however platelets were a little low 124, where the range is 150-400.
