Do you think this is post vasectomy pain?

Hi, this is my first post.

I have been having some hard-to-pinpoint pain in my genital area for many months.
I will tell you the symptoms and other info and maybe you can give me your educated opinion if it MIGHT be PVP.

First off I found this video that talks about PVP and it sounds like what I am experiencing and he speaks of the fluid backing up, but in my case my vas. was supposedly "open ended" so I assume this would not apply. Yet my intuition tells me my problem is related to my vasectomy. http://youtu.be/qoCOWZTtmbc However he speaks of closed end vasectomies and mine was open ended so shouldn't have this problem, right?

* I had my open ended vasectomy over 12 years ago. I have had almost no pain up to this point. (I occasionally had a twinge of pain before or after sex but it was very mild and very very infrequent (like once in several months, or even once a year.)

* When I feel around down in the area of my balls and penis, now, I do not feel any pain. I'm not a doctor but I would think if it were cancer or an infection or such, I would feel some pain when poking around. I have had my prostate manually checked recently and PSA blood test and both showed I do not have enlarged prostate.

*The pain comes and goes. Lately it's been getting worse. Sometimes it hurts after sex but more often it seems having sex prevents it or else there is no correlation at all and it's just coincidence. Although yesterday it did hurt more after sex.

* This seems weird but it always hurts more when I drive my car, something about the angle of the seat I would guess, though it seems like a normal car seat. Sitting at home at my computer does not seem to make it worse, just the car, and sometimes at work too.Maybe because my desk seat at home is more padded?

* I describe the pain as a "pinching" pain, at times - though mild - and other times like a dull headache in my "genital area".  Note I don't say in my balls or in my penis as it is hard to pinpoint it, it just seems to be in that "general area".

I have been reluctant to go to a doctor about this because I have a feeling they would just do tons of tests on different things, before finding anything - IF they found anything - and I live in the USA and have NO health insurance and cannot afford a lot of tests. I work but part time, so I don't qualify for free clinics yet can't afford a lot of testing etc. I would like to find out what test I could specifically do to check this and then pay only for that test, as I am pretty convinced it is something to do with my vasectomy.

* Do the above symptoms fit the profile of PVP that can be remedied by a reversal even though my vasectomy was an "open ended" one?

* Is there a not-too-expensive test I can have done to determine for sure if this is the problem? If so what is the test?

Since I had my vasectomy so long ago I don't think the doctor who did it is still around here, he probably moved. Maybe I can find him through the AMA, I haven't tried yet but did look for him once and came up empty.

I realize this is long and that nevertheless no one can diagnose me nor be sure, but I am looking for OPINIONS as to whether this is PVP and any info you can give me as to proving it is or isn't would be helpful. I am in the Los Angeles area.
