Re: Water Fasting & Friendly Gut Flora

Since therapeutic fasting has been mostly used since the mid 1800's very few if any post-fasters have experienced any problems with the replenishment of the internal flora, as long as the fast is broken properly and digestion is allowed to re-nurture itself over a few weeks. Studies are for medical people, and derived from the use of pharmaceuticals, so I wouldn't be overly concerned about this.
