Got rid of Bartholin abscess

I suffered from this bartholin abscess for almost 12 days, it was a hell feeling, i dont want to experience that pain again. For the last few days the lump sized into like a golf ball i think, and it was so painful, i cant even sit or walk i just lie down and feeling irritated the whole time. So i started to search for a cure through internet and i bumped in this site, so i tried first the sitz bath with Epsom Salt and took 2 tabs a day of silica from holland and barrett, i dont want to undergo mini surgery coz ive never been hospitalized in my entire life and im already 38yrs old.
After a week the lump and swelling was still there so i tried phoebe's solution:

Tea tree oil
Lavender oil
Calamine lotion
Witch hazel

I just soaked a cotton with these oils/ solutions and applied it to affected area for about 30 mins, and you will feel a burning effect...it just normal i think to feel this and including the swelling, i just applied it once and followed a sitz bath with few drops of tea tree oil only and hot compress with tea tree oil again and the following night it bursts on its own, it was a huge relief and now im back to normal...thanks phoebe...
