wow that post could almost have been written by me, sooo much of it is the same story!

Did you ever get to the bottom of it?

I had the same, testicular pain in left side, kinda like stabbing pains, got put on ciprofloxacin for a month. Towards the end of that month started to feel really ill, extreme fatigue mainly, and aches and pains.

Had scans and bloods done and showed nothing, also saw urologist and rheumatologist who could see nothing significant.

This got worse and worse but at the time I attributed it all to epidydimitis/orchitis, so the doctors kept moving me onto different Antibiotics . 9 weeks of trimethoprim, then four weeks of doxycycline and flagyl combined (plus another one they injected into my backside!).

After 3+ months on Antibiotics I was in a real mess. Could barely walk on the worst days, as if I had extreme Arthritis (mostly foot pain around the ankles) couldn't hold head up was so weak, and huge muscle twitches. Felt like my whole body had been poisoned.

Also had thrush externally, in mouth, on genitals and around anus and finally made the connection between the Antibiotics and the way I was feeling.

Pretty sure I am suffering from a bigtime candida overgrowth situation as so many of the symptoms fit (also have bad sinuses, allergies, migraines, sensitivity to light etc).

Have now been on an anti candida diet for a month and just starting probiotics and antifungals.

Did you fully get better and can you tell me exactly what you did? ie what diet, what herbs/supplements etc.

And did you ever get to the bottom on the testicular pain? Did that go? i still have a nagging pain, but no idea if it's connected to candida or anything else.

Any more info would be great as this is the first time I've found someone with a similar story.
