FDA - friend of foe? Are they really trying to protect the people or are they protecting the Pharmas money?

We are discovering the more we try to save ourselves the more the FDA gets in our way. Doctors are no longer dedicated to saving lives or curing disease but dedicated to the institution of profiteering. Whether they like it or not, if they want to keep their license they must succumb to FDA and State Medical Boards' wishes or they risk losing their license.

Is any patient worth losing their livelihood over? Probably not. So our doctors are not really going to tell us or give us the options we 'want' to count on getting from them. We are left to take their advice not based on what is really going to work but what is approved by the FDA and will make Pharmas profitable.

So cancer will march on, chemotherapy will continue to be dumped into patient's veins, radiation will continue to be used to burn patients and vital organs and body parts will be cut off in the name of saving or preventing cancer; all approved by the FDA. The cancer will not stop nor will the money flow. Alternative cancer treatments will be banned from use, whether proven or not; patients will have no freedom of choice.

Doctors are in increasing numbers giving up practice and many moving south of the border to Panama, Belize, Mexico and Costa Rica to set up practice or work in clinics or hospitals where they are able to treat patients with care and consideration, using treatments that work. Gone will be the fear of a raid or a hearing before a State Medical Board or defending a complaint by the FDA. Patient medical records will be private. Being treated by intimidation will be eliminated. But we all cannot travel so we must share and help each other discover ways to treat our diseases.

Recent article indicates our doctors are losing their rights to treat patients as they feel necessary, patient records are used to intimidate. http://www.anh-usa.org/fda-sharing-patients%E2%80%99-private-medical-records-...
