Re: Bepanthen experiment, any updates?
I guess it depends on what you really call washing. I do let water touch them when I brush my teeth or shower if that is what you mean. I also wash them with soap sometimes after I eat pizza or any other food with a staining sauce because the sauce tends to accumulate around the edges of my lips.
If the buildup is coming off at any rate then it will be during those times. However, my buildup is just not getting to the point it used to anymore. The Bepanthen cream is really controlling it. I wish I could say that the mouthwashing/brushing is doing it but, all that is really doing is just keeping the candida biofilm in the mucosa of my mouth in check somewhat. The Bepanthen really made the difference because it is what allowed me to see the most results in just 4 days after I began using it.
I am now on day 12 of using the Bepanthen & my buildup is controlled to the point that I can actually smile & stretch my lips & not worry about them cracking or feeling plasticky.
However, I am still struggling with the white gunk/slime though. Even though the white gunk/slime is at an all time low for me; it is still there when I wake up, leave my mouth closed for a long time, or when I talk for a long time.
