I'm new to this forum and wondered if anyone could help me.
I've had IBS for 10 years and have had an especially awful flare up (gas, bloating, mainly constipation but some diarrhea) over the past year.
I started the SCD diet 30 days ago and have been very strict on it. However, I'm having real trouble adding in any new foods. I can tolerate grape juice jelly, spinach, most meats and chicken/chicken soup but whenever I add in anything else my symptoms get worse.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm worried that my diet is too restricted for health. So far I've added in: courgette, butternut squash, bananas, carrots and honey but all have made me feel worse (ranging from bloating to diarrhea and extreme swelling of my stomach).
