Transverse colon issues

Hi All

Two years ago, I had a surgery that left a rather large scar just below the left side of my transverse colon.

Since then, I've had periods of horrific pain, ended up having my gall bladder removed but that hasn't helped at all, and I'm thinking now that the scar tissue has probably made it more likely the the turn in the transverse colon is very likely clogged up. I also get pain on the far right side at times too....both sides, pain is just above to just below ribs.

I'm thinking of trying some enemas to clear out this part of the intestines, but when I've tried using laxatives, they have made the pain much much worse...usually for 2 or three days.

Is there a reason laxatives would make it worse?? Mag Citrate has been somewhat helpful with less pain when I use that, but it usually leaves me feeling quite sick for a day or two afterwards.

Any insight would be truly appreciated. This is new to me.

Thank you
