Amalgam tattoo removal scheduled. Should I stop iodine?
I'bave an appt scheduled to have four pieces of
Amalgam removed from bone and gum tissue. Four years ago I had all my fillings and crowns replaced and that is when when my dentist (MIAOMT) informed me that I have an
Amalgam tattoo. He has advised me to live with it unless I felt it was causing problems. The tattoo has been there about 30+years.
I've been doing the
Iodine protocol now for almost 2yrs and still continue to have yeast/candida issues, so I'm thinking the mercury from these tattoos are causing these issues to continue as yeast binds to mercury.
I have found another dentist (IAOMT) that will do the surgery and scheduled it for October, but I'm wondering if I should stop the
Iodine a couple days before surgery until how long after? Or if I should just stay on the same dosage...about 2grams of
SSKI a day and 100-200mg of
Iodine a day, with cosupplements.
From what I've read iodine can mobilize mercury, but is not a strong chelater.
The dentist said she would have me take charcoal tablets day of surgery.
When I had my fillings and crowns restored a few years ago,I went through about a week of horrible candida/yeast issues, so I'm preparing for that, again.
Any advise or suggestions from you knowledgeable people would be much appreciated!
