Re: Iodine for enlarged prostate/BPH/prostatitis?
Grizz,
On the HealingWell "Gat-Goren" thread, we have a lively discussion about non-standard ways of treating prostate disease. We're mostly interested in BPH, but we discuss prostatitis and (very occasionally) prostate cancer too.
Dr. Yigal Gat thinks that all these diseases are related to a deficiency of blood circulation through the prostate-testes-bladder. I'm simplifying here.

Newer posts on the later pages, and now we've started a third thread. We just can't stop talking.
Dr. Gat took the summer off from accepting new prostate patients, so we are going far afield in our inquiries. We hope and expect him to resume soon, and then we'll probably concentrate on his theories and the experiences of his patients. We have three prostate patients of his there.
Many of us have had unproductive encounters with the medical establishment in treating our prostate and urinary problems.
My personal physician no longer does the PSA test routinely.
