Re: how many of your symptoms could be from POTS?

Indeed I believe AF and POTS go hand in hand Omo. I'm not POTSy everyday, but on the days when my sodium is low or when my mast cells are pissy I get POTS symptoms. Doctors have recently correlated mast cell activation disorder with POTS as well. I have Postural Orthostatic Hypotension (blood pressure drops upon standing) more prevalent than the increased heatbeat, but I do get the racing heart from time to time. I have a mast cell disorder which also manifests itself in the form of MCS and Histamine Intolerance .

I also have a friend with POTS who was also diagnosed with Addison's, but she no longer has the Addison's or needs HC anymore. But the POTS is still there. I also have another friend with genetic mast cell activation disorder (she was born with it) who has POTS as well. In my opinion it's all the same illness, just manifested differently in different people.

And as far as lactic acid goes, you're on to something. The only probiotics I can take are the D-lactate free ones- strains which do not produce lactic acid. They have correlated autism with excess lactic acid as well, and we all know how close AF/CFS is related to autism.

Perhaps it is hypoperfusion causing all of it. Could also be angry mast cells, inflammation somewhere, genetic glitches, or methylation issues. The rabbit hole goes pretty deep.
