Re: Saw This and Thought of you Feo...

I detected copper in my drinking water which is pumped from a natural spring just a couple of fields up from where i live.

Interestingly, i assumed it was copper piping to blame for the copper reading - until my boyfriend reminded me that the cold water feed has no copper parts whatsoever! It's the hot water side of the system that is copper and i just presumed it was all copper.

So i'm shocked to find that the article you cited Feo is absolutely correct - even without copper plumbing we can easily have high copper water levels.

We all blame it on copper piping - easy to do as it's standard plumbing material.

Yet even my spring water has high copper in it, from the source!

I'm surprised and disappointed as it's not easy to truly filter out dissolved particles of copper.

Another point is my hair has turned more and more red since living here and drinking the water.
Hair analysis showed high copper. Haven't had a recent test since not drinking the water, and taking zinc.

Wired is just having a tongue in cheek giggle Feo...he sounds like he's been in a playful mood of late.. Must be all that Cialis eh Wired? ;-)
