Sunflower Lecithin by MH

In medical history it has been soybean lecithin dating back to the 1940's and naturally pre-gmo and round up spray.

With the sunflower, I have been using the oil for years now and had no real clue that they could make "lecithin" from the sunflower....not knowing how they create lecithin in the first place, but appearantly they can and surely it takes a factory to have that ability and since sunflowers are a seed, it takes quite a bit of powder to extract the oil/fat same as it would with the soybean and would seem that there would be more oil in sunflowers than soybean....

I can also assume sunflowers have been very much modified by mankind---because when I see those commercial fields, I don't remember seeing weeds......so are they round up ready like soybeans?????????????? I do not know, I only see sunflower fields about 100+ miles t the north of where I live, so I don't get the oppotunity to know the farmers or watch what they do..........

Regardless, sunflower lecithin can cost twice what soybean lecithin does and a few even ask 5x more..........

I purchased some, tasted it and it looks like lecithin, taste like lecithin and has a distinct sunflower flavor........if not for the flavor, I would swear it was no different that soybean lecithin in texture and dissolvability-----------like lecithin, no one would enjoy taking a tablespoon and putting it into their mouth and no child should ever be given even a small amount, because of the choke possibility..

So I was out of soybean lecithin and now have a supply of sunflower lecithin, so all future uses I have for lecithin will be soybean free.....not that I believe it is bad, but am hopeing sunflower is a better source and with health, cost $$$$$ is not to be a factor---because 1 trip to the e/r with your bad heart / cancer, etc.......makes ya pay in more ways than one for neglecting your health.
