First time and there was a lot of blood/blood clots is this normal?

Hi it was my first time there was blood and a lot more afterwards it was ongoing for about 5 days as begin to lighten up plus there was a blod clot the size of a lemon. Is this normal for someone who was a virgin (first time)?
