People who get CRC by Antibiotic intake aren't genetically susceptible to mucosal candidiasis. The event of this syndrome is a depletion of LAB in the gut and the mutation of candida albicans. The immune tolerance is acquired and manipulated by the same fungus when it sets the infection. This is the case of CRC. Obviously, there are genetic and intrinsic defects associated to chronic candida infections but isn't the case of this syndrome.
