Good idea but it may not be having the full desired effect.

Because to the current limiting on the output, each leg of the Y is only getting a little more than half of the current. The output should be modified so that there are 2 output resistor circuits instead of 1 and a separate jack for each leg rather than putting a Y in the wires.

This should provide full current to each leg/arm rather than about half. It should also tend to balance the currents so that each would be more equalized.
