Re: Jobs for the Depressed

Depression is much more complicated than that. Most people have it since their youth. For 40 years I used drugs and that helped but eventually you might end up with side effects.
I stopped the drugs in 2003 and just try to balance my life and do only what I want to do. This means I like to be alone and don't need lots of friends. I have several close friends but they accept my introvert life style. I very seldom go to big parties but like small get togethers. Once we were involved with a big group of friends and they started running our life with always doing things together.
I took steps to pull myself away from it what meant most of them did not like me anymore. You have to feel peace within yourself and just accept that there is no half friendship it is all or nothing.
These things become easier when you get older because you don't worry much about what people think of you.
I just looked up how to spell introvert and I am going to check it again because there were several links to like
introverts in the work place etc.
