I'm glad you took the time to write this informative piece. The majority of the points you have raised are correct.

Though I disagree that those points are the cause of the poster being depressed.

I've often thought the same thing: what job can a tired, depressed man with no desire to talk to anyone nor smile do.

So now I am driving. I don't need to talk to anyone for most of the day. Nor do I need to smile. Its just me, my thoughts and the road.

Just an idea for you.
