Re: Can water-only fasting cure peripheral neuropathy?

Thanks, applecore. How bad are your symptoms? How long did you fast? My case is not too bad, fortunately, but has lasted a long time, five years. Today in Day 19 of my fast, neuropathy symptoms have not changed much, but now that I have gotten this far into it, I want to push on until I get hungry again or ketone level drops, signaling the onset of starvation. I want to give this my best shot, otherwise will just have to live with it. Some fasts for other chronic conditions such as ulcerative colitis (Jack Goldstein http://www.escapeallthesethings.com/FastingUC/
) have required as much as six weeks to cure and with medical supervision but I do not believe I have enough fat reserves to go that far (present weight 110, BMI 17.8).
