DOCTOR TO RALPH NADER

His doctor advised
him against eating
meat for in him the
consumer activist
it created arthritis
and definitely
caused permanent
rigidity
for the consumee.

FOOD THE PAINTER, THE SCULPTOR

Uric acid (pre urine in meat muscle cells or trioxypurine) is a chisel .. it has
written lines like a music scale in the brows of many. Animal fat based
cholesterol is a paint brush... it has tinged his complexion rosy red. Hormone
laden animal flesh has given him swelled breasts (gynecomastia).
Eating animals has made him 23 pounds heavier. Eating turkeys has given
his neck turkey wattles, and lack of vitamin C in
unprocessed fruit has made his skin hang.

THOSE WE EAT EAT US

The goose he ate now pecks at his liver
The pieces of the fish he suffocated
leave residue in his lungs blocking his breath
The pig he confined... now confines
his movement.. as uric acid crystals
block his joints
The cow he bludgeoned on her head
.. had fat which now clogs his brain
The chicken he choked.. had bones
which caught in his throat. Time to break the cycle.

UNPUBLICIZED HAZARDS

Just as cooking animal flesh creates carcinogens
methylcholanthrene and malanaldehyde in temperatures
higher than 300 degrees
..so the microwave... with 2.5? times higher tempartures...
creates more carcinogens. While some think
that high heat destroys microorganisms,
thermophilic bacteria flourish in high heat
while creiophilic bacteria grow in lower heat.

VERMIN

The etymological source
of the word vermin
is a Latin word for worms.
It has evolved to the human chauvinist
meaning of rats as parasitical. It
is war profiteers and not
God's creatures who are vermin.


NETWORK TV DIRECTORS

Those network ad and programming directors
who deliberately pander to the lowest in humanity..
through product placement promoting booze,
smoking, overeating, sensuality, violence,
toxic pharmaceuticals, ecocidal chemicals, the pieces
of murdered or slave animals,
are similar to those who tie a goat to a tree to trap a tiger.

DORMOUSE

A divine compassion struck him
He became verbal
about the rights of each dormouse
and every little gherbil
the rights of trees and bushes
and all beings herbal.

KARAKUL

Nor far from the town of Kabul
is one called Karakul
whose name has been given
to the wrinkled fur
of murdered or stillborn lambs.

EATING PIGS

It is not meant as an insult to pigs to say that when one
eats a lot of pig flesh one begins to look like a pig.

MICHIGANDERS

In that election Michiganders
protected doves but not ganders.

CAT CENSORSHIP

Cats censor phone calls by stepping on the disconnect button, change radio
stations by strolling over the turndial and edit computer text by walking across
the keyboard.

BASIL RATHBONE

Advice from Sherlock

in every murdered bone

RESPECTING THE ETHICS OF CHILDREN

He could swallow an entire
moon... reflected in his cup
but the thought of eating
flesh... made him throw up
