Fighting over chocolate! Is this normal!
Okay, so I take my daughter to the movies on Friday, we get there a little late so we don't have time for popcorn or soda, when the movies is over we go to leave and my 9 year old daughter asks me to buy her a candy bar, I tell her no, the movie is over. I'm not going to pay a fortune for movie theater chocolate, she gets so mad! and walks ahead of me all the way back to the car, doesn't even say thank you for taking her to the movies.
All weekend long, she had been wanting her "first" bra since some of her shirts are kind of see through and the girls her age at camp are wearing them so I take her to Old Navy, buy her 4 new bra tops with matching underwear and new sneakers! We then go to Marshalls where I get a pair of sun glasses for myself since I lost my pair and then we go to the dollar store to buy shower curtains for the bathroom. There is this nasty Hershey's chocolate next to the cash register from Easter that is already turning that old greyish color and she wants it, I'm like no, that chocolate is rotten. I'm not going to buy it! Again, she argues with me the whole way home on how she needed that chocolate and how could I not buy it for her and she's so tired and needs chocolate every day but when am I going to get her some. I kept on telling her to stop arguing and demanding chocolate until finally, I had to ground her because she just wouldn't stop! Once again, she didn't even say thank you for the stuff I bought her! I don't understand why she is like this. I'm so over it.
