Liver flush causes iron overload?

Hi all! New to posting on cure zone, but not new to DIY home remedies. Last week I did my first liver flush. Used phosphorus and apple juice and got results before I even drank the olive oil! I was so naseauted before and after the flush for days. It was pretty brutal. I have been doing coffee enemas since April when I was diagnosed with mono. That was really a turning point for me as I started detoxing naturally with juicing and coffee enemas daily. My liver enzymes were very very high from the mono.

Fast forward to today. I did the flush as a last ditch effort to improve liver function before getting pregnant, like this week. We have been planning for awhile. ;). My mom is aware of our desire, but not the timing and as a nurse urged me to get blood tests again just to make sure my liver was in good shape before I got pregnant. So, I did. I drank the oil Wednesday night and got a blood test Friday morning. I was aware it might be a little strange because of the flush, but I was NOT expecting my iron serum to be 293! This is an "Alert High" on the lab results. Normal is no more than 150. :(
Imagine my disappointment that my liver function is great but my iron is dangerously high! Could this be from the apple juice? Raw grassfed liver? Beet kvass? Small amounts of prenatal vitamins? Latge amounts of magnesium? I have no clue, but I'm all anxious and self diagnosing which is causing heart palpitations? Or maybe they are from the iron overload? Hemochromatosis is no joke and can kill you, but how fast? What are the levels to really freak out over? How fast will they go back down? Should I give blood as recommended for this disorder so soon to getting pregnant? The Trying to conceive attempts have already begun, and my faith in God is giving me peace about going forward as I'm healthy in every other way, but I still have all these questions.

Anyone know enough to comment?

Thanks!
Ashley
