Yes, saline water enemas are hard for me to hold during a flare up or in the morning. I have colitis in the same spot as you. I can hold coffee enemas perfectly well so maybe it has to do with the salt in saline solution or do you just use plain water? Maybe it's just the body feels there is nothing needed in the water so it expels. Try chamomile enema. I can hold those and they are very soothing Tweet
