Does Essiac Tea without Sheep Sorrel ROOT (just Sheep Sorrel) Work for Cancer?
I bought
Essiac tea from iherb (Guardian Spirit tea) but it probably is just sheep sorrel (stem and leaf) rather than the whole plant with the root, as Rene
Caisse specified. They also have it in tea bags under the name Ojibwa tea, and they have it in a few other forms as well (also under various names). Just look up the four ingredients - burdock, sheep sorrel, slippery elm and rhubarb root.
Has anyone heard of it still working for cancer, without the root of sheep sorrel (just the above ground parts)? It sounds like I would have to grow my own sheep sorrel and harvest the whole plant with roots in order to get the actual formulation Rene herself used, because none of the growers want to dig up their whole plants since it's time consuming and the plants take two years to grow.
If anyone needs a coupon code, PEY 561 works. The tea is quite decent tasting - I put 1/4 cup into 5 cups of water (I put in an extra cup of water since I figured it would lose some during the simmering process).
I'm giving to my dog, who has two tumors. I've been giving her ground apricot kernels as well as bovine cartilage. If anyone has any advice for me, please let me know.
