Re: Cortisol, Adrenal Fatigue and Libido

"I'm right there with you Brazilianguy, I went the route of raw pituitary
and adrenal caps, bovine and porcine alike and started taking a male
complex supplement. it seem to work wonders. I'm going to re read and
reread and reread your Siri but I would love to talk more on the
subject. I feel you hit the nail on the head and would like to know what
you know as this is still a new discovery to me. But a discovery
nonetheless that has beyond amplified my lifestyle. You know what I'm
talking about haha

And yes, post weaning the sex drive improved, like ALL things improved
when I got off the medication. Perhaps it was the stress that affected
my drive. Perhaps it was the HC passing through me. I dont know. But I
know that every month I travel away from the date I stopped the HC
(exactly 1 yr ago) I feel better.

The sex drive returned soon after I finished the HC to the level it was pre HC

It sounds like you may need a bump to the full 20 mg. I was started at
10 of cortef and that didn't dent my fatigue and falling asleep at the
drop of a hat. SO they bumped me to 15 mg. This was better but I still
felt like a zombie half the day. The added 5 mg at 3-5 pm.. WEEE!
That sent me into functional awake and alive mode. Heck my libido even
returned enough to make my husband nervous. The first week he said I was looking him over like a box of my favorite chocolate covered caramels.

Interestingly
the bloods and urine taken at same time as saliva showed Cortisol to be
in lower third or so but not exhaustion as shown on saliva, docs seem
to have varying views on which is accurate, as usaul!!!. I feel
exhausted and sex drive down since coming off HC, if I take it I feel
better."
