Re: Must Lecithin be taken with Oil?

Mixing olive oil with soy lecithin oil/extract/call it whatever also includes a bit of a safety measure. From having tried this myself, trying to swallow a few teaspoons/tablespoon dose of such pure lecithin may be close to impossible to doing without gagging or choking in the process. Kinda reminds me of the first time I tried to swallow a big spoon full of miso soup while overseas; I darn near suffocated, not realizing that miso, like pure lecithin, is very sticky and thick, and tends to glob onto surfaces, like the back of one's throat, while trying to swallow by the mouthful. In this case, olive oil added as a 50/50 mix definitely helps this particular medicine go down. I personally think that adding one's favorite olive oil also enhances the taste/enjoyment factor.
