I have spoken with a lot of doctors about this. It is very strange, some doctors are keenly aware of the problem, and some are extremely ignorant and misinformed either willfully or ignorantly. There are a lot of doctors who advocate liver flushing, though compared to the general population of doctors they are very rare.

I find that doctors who have one foot in alternative medicine are aware of how important the biliary system is, others have a totally different view of how the body works - i.e. WRONG

Once you start unravelling a few of their misconceptions many of them will either become hostile or defensive. It means basically that they are completely full of shite. It's not necessarily their fault, they are just educated improperly.
