I've been away...
...from here and from my
Iodine intake for a couple of months.
And that has made me realise how I feel without it.
Not great.
And I found myself craving processed and sugary foods far more, which in turn made me not want to take my daily lugols. I was self medicating low mood with food for far too long. Bad, as I work in the fitness industry. All that rubbish food intake has definitely affected me hormonally - I have some gyno type symptoms - a lump under each nipple. I am painting with lugols, and it seems that it is improving already with that and better nutrition.
Motivation, energy, sleep, skin quality all worsened.
But, I am back on it now, in conjunction with a new weapon: home made bone broth. Wow, the addition of the broth has clearly started healing my GI tract already as my number 2's have improved in quality. Oh, and my skin tone has improved too (noticeable, even for me as a man).
Anyways, I think now is more important than ever to get the
Iodine dose up as the Fukishima overspill seems to be apparent over that way.
