Re: False Prophecies of Perry Stone

Ok, Recovering, I decided to listen to this to see what he had to say. I hesitate spending my time listening to Mike because I know I disagree with him on things that are important.

I know I do not agree with everything Perry Stone teaches. I do not have a TV and so I do not listen to much of him. I have seen some good videos of his on Youtube. I do not have time to research the things Mike is saying about him and I am not familiar enough with Perry to answer as to whether Mike is twisting the truth or not about him. I know I do not trust Mike and his teachings.

As to what he had to say about Perry's father, Fred Stone, I fail to see, in what he reported about that story, that Fred sought to consult with the dead. From what I saw Fred had a vision of a dead person. Fred did not seek this or ask for it, therefore Fred did nothing wrong. Yes, the Bible is clear that we are not to seek communication with the dead and if we do, it most likely will be demons that we are communicating with. There are several Biblical examples of godly people in the Bible having visions of dead people and it was not sin.
