I am planning to buy a water distillation system for everyday use. I have an idea to make it better but not sure if it is very effective.
Distilled water has 2 major disadvantages.
1 is that it is acidic because it would dissolve CO2 from the air, so it has a PH of 5.
2 is that it stripes its surroundings from minerals (as if it is starving for minerals). It is non-ionized so it would strip minerals from the pipes it its running through or the human body which causes mineral deficiencies.
My idea is to run it through a mineral replacement filter which will alkaline the water and replace some or maybe all the minerals. Are the ingredients in the mineral replacement filter chemical free? Have they been washed by Chlorine?
The below links will show a mineral replacement filter.

Do you think that this is a good idea? Should I also add oxygen to it the same way it is done in a fish tank?
Will this replace all the missing minerals and electrolytes?
Since it is stripping the minerals from anything that it touches, will it be over doing it when it passes through the mineral replacement system?
What type of container do you believe is the best to hold water without taking any of the particles? I heard that fiberglass can resist bacteria. But is it 1000% safe?
I am also planning to put some silver pieces (not colloidal silver) in the water to control the bacteria growth. I wonder if there is a negative effect on this over 50yrs or more.
Is there an easy way to test the water for the minerals after it goes through the process?
