male pattern baldness and nutrients
I am not sure if MPB is talked about on this forum but I will post anyways. So, I have had a receding hairline since about 24 years old and am now 29 so it is pretty noticeable now. I keep my hair short and faded so it doenst look bad. Anyways, I have found that nutrients stop, or at least slow, down any receding hair and the nutrients appear to make my hair fuller.
I have had issues with anxiety for a long time and a few years ago I went to an orthomolecular clinic and they tested me for certain nutrient levels and some other stuff. They gave me two nutrient formulas to take and many of the nutrients are in a multi, but at a higher dose (some of them like zinc, vit d, b6 p5p)but also there are many nutrients in a multi you wont see in my formula (like folic acid, iron, copper). Many of the nutrients in my formulas (have an AM and PM compound) are activated or in forms easy to use.
So, I was on the formula for over a year and my hair line didnt recede. I stopped the formula and within a few weeks noticed my hairline wearing away. I thought there was no relation. Then, a few months later I got back on the formula and grew my hair back out (while off the formula I shaved it). My hairline seems ok and I didnt see anymore receding.
Now, I have been off the formula again for a couple months and my hairline is receding more again. So, it appears that this nutrient formula stops my hair loss and may help regrow some hairs or at least make them stronger. Does anyone know anything about all this? Thanks
